Major Grants support not-for-profit organisations to deliver one-off projects, events and activities with broad community benefit. Applications must align to one of the seven specific grant categories as detailed in the guidelines.
Funding up to $15,000 is available, or up to $30,000 for infrastructure projects. One application per organisation.
If you’re interested in a Community Garden (and sustainability hub) in Coolum, please take a few minutes to fill out this short survey so we can start meeting with Council and our local Councillor to get things moving!
Step 1 is showing there’s community interest and commitment to making it happen! (I think we already have this but need to quantify it!)
Step 2 is making a plan to make it happen and working with people with interest in being part of a core group to have it established and work out how it will run etc.
***Hint if short on time and don’t want to answer all questions you can tick the first few and submit done - this will take less than 2 mins and can be done one handed!***
Maria Suarez so pleased to see this garden being revisited , looking forward to more info !!!! Ilana Kelly
Amazing work Claire Baker and the passionate community members behind the scenes championing this great community led project. A community garden in Coolum will be amazing to connect not only with our neighbours but reconnect with nature. Fingers crossed 🤞we see this soon
