Division 9 is where I live, and I work hard for positive change for our community.

For the last four years, I’ve worked hard to protect what we love, and deliver on what the community said it needs in Division 9. There is still more work to be done and I’m ready and able to do it.

We live in this area because of the lifestyle offered from the beach to the bush. Poor historical decisions and constant pressures on what we hold dear can threaten our liveability. The past four years has been one of constant effort to ensure that the future of the way people live, work and play doesn’t become a secondary consideration in favour of the interests of a few. These efforts need to be sustained into the future.

In the past there was much that needed to change. While I made changes to policies regarding information transparency, community consultation policy, the community leasing policy revision to reduce insurance and maintenance costs or community groups, and fiercely protected our environmental areas and town plan – there is still more change that is required and can be achieved.

I’m here for the community of Division 9 and the Sunshine Coast. I’ve fought for Division 9 to receive its fair share and to never be forgotten. People in our community have asked me to represent Division 9 again because I’ve proven that I’m not afraid to challenge the status quo and stand up for what’s right.

The only way to continue this change is with your support. If our values and vision for the future of our region align, you can help make this a reality by voting for me at the polling booth on 16 March 2024. If you’d like to volunteer to help, please contact us.
